AMMAN PALACE HOTEL, Amman – Your ideal downtown stay

I had a frustrating experience with my guaranteed reservation at the Amman Palace Hotel. Instead of honoring my booking, I was placed in the New Park Hotel, which had several issues like a door that wouldn't lock and no hot water. Although the location wasn't ideal and the building lacked maintenance, I appreciate that the staff at the alternative hotel were friendly and offered trips at reasonable prices. However, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place unless you're on an extremely tight budget.

I found it quite tricky to locate affordable lodging in Amman, and while this place was on the cheaper side, it came with its share of issues. The rooms felt small and dated, and the noise from outside was a constant bother. However, the bathrooms were kept clean, and the staff were quite helpful, presenting options for local trips. Despite the location being a bit rundown, it was central to several attractions and eateries. If you're operating on a tight budget, it might suffice, but don't expect much comfort.
